Cambridgeshire Equine Body Worker

Oonagh works throughout Cambridgeshire and in parts of Essex and Herts from her base near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, as a fully qualified and insured Equine Craniosacral Therapist, Equinology® Equine Myofascial Release specialist and Equinology Equine Body Worker®. Oonagh is also a registered Craniosacral Therapist, MFR therapist and Sports massage therapist for riders. Details of human therapy practice can be found here.

As a therapist and rider Oonagh knows the benefits of using , Craniosacral therapy, MFR and massage techniques on horses. Bodywork sessions can help the horse by calming emotional stress, reducing behavioual problems and relaxing muscular tension associated with repetitive training, injury and soft tissue fatigue. This can also assist in improving performance for all disciplines as an adjunct to everyday management and training.

She also has a keen interest in Mary Wanless 'Ride With your Mind' rider biomechanics coaching and finds this exploration of the riders position and its influence on the horse very useful to both her riding and her understanding of the horse. She is currently a student in Mary's teacher training programme.

Please note that Equine Body Work, MFR and Craniosacral Therapy are intended to complement, not replace, the relationship you have with your Veterinarian. If your horse has or you suspect the animal may have a health problem, please see your Vet. Never disregard medical advice or delay in seeking it because of anything you have read on this website.

Veterinary permission is required before visiting your horse. Please call to advise them you will be booking a session with Oonagh.
